CAREER OPPORTUNITY WITH SITTHI LOGISTICS (STL)

• Position Title: Finance Manager
• Division: Finance Division
• Report to: Finance Director
• Location: Sitthi Logistics, Vientiane Capital
• Business group: Logistics- STL

Job purpose:

Finance Manager takes complete control and ownership of the accounting function from data input to preparing reports, budgets, commentaries and management information on a weekly / monthly basis. Provide monthly analysis and comparison of performance to annual budgets (Planned versus Actual).  Undertake financial administration and internal audits, oversee the invoicing process across the business scope of the organization.  Be responsible in financial resources of a company in budget planning, and supports the executive management team by offering insights and financial advice that will allow them to make the best business decisions for the company. Develop and manage financial systems/policies.  Review Accounting reports, monitoring accounts, preparing financial forecasts and reporting to the Finance Director.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the Finance Team in accordance with the plan and target of the organization.
• Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company (payroll, invoicing, receivable and other transactions).
• Verify payment document to ensure that the payment request document is complete and correct.
• Control the risks in Financial such as payment, cash receive and reporting.
• Cash flow management, aggressively managing cost, enabling growth, ensuring controllership and compliance through direct and in-direct leadership competencies.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management and government reporting.
• Set department and individual staff KPIs, ensure that employees work is efficient, and be able to complete the task on time per requirement.
• Liaise with customers or relevant department to understand the needs of customers to improve work and create trust with customers.
• Ensure that month end and year-end financial close within the time line and with complete quality.
• Monthly Balance sheet reconciliation review.
• Training assessment needs and develop training plan with supervisor to develop employees.
• Work with internal and external auditor.
• Ensure compliance with Finance and Accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties and assist in ad-hoc to Finance Director.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a similar position in a well-structured organization.
• Working experience in Logistic or Commerce.
• CPA preferred
• Analytical and problem-solving skill
• Excellent written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills in English & Lao.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and outstanding in Advanced Excel Skill
• Proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
